Segment 47 Limited was born in 2019 when we started sourcing products for our own brands.
We navigated the complexities of identifying suppliers, negotiating competitive prices and importing everything from wearables and greetings cards to fishing equipment, jewellery, luggage, pet supplies, lighting, tools and home products.
This was a global exercise, spanning the USA, Asia, Europe, Africa and the UK.
It quickly became clear that, if we wanted reliable inventory, we needed to build and manage the entire supply chain and fulfilment process. What we didn’t realise was how important these skills would be to other businesses and so we pivoted to start offering this service to brick-and-mortar stores across the UK.
We negotiate competitive prices with brands and distributors for niche products and ensure these are delivered where and when they’re needed.
But we don’t stop there as we will also undertake direct to consumer fulfilment on behalf of clients with an online offering.
And that’s in addition to looking after our own brand, South Charlotte Fine Lighting.
